  5. You need to read this document if:
  6.    √ You are upgrading from an older version of Tools Plus. If you
  7.        are upgrading from a version older than 2.6, read all other
  8.        applicable change documents first.

  12. Tools Plus 2.6.1, released in September 1995, includes the following changes implemented since the previous version, 2.6:

  14.   • Tools Plus 2.6.1 contains a new set of libraries and files.
  15.      Replace your existing Tools Plus files with the new ones included
  16.      in this update. Delete all your old copies of the Tools Plus
  17.      libraries and related files (C header, Pascal interface etc.)
  18.  
  19. •• NEW: Compatibility with CodeWarrior 7 (revised Universal APIs)
  20.  
  21. •• NEW: Tools Plus tutorials to help newcomers learn from a
  22.      minimal application.

  24. •• NEW academic pricing for students and institutions.

  26.   • If you pasted text into a length-limited field using the
  27.      PasteIntoField routine, it used to incorrectly limit pasting to the
  28.      maximum size of the _active_ field instead of the specified
  29.      target field.

  31.   • When creating and deleting objects that adopt the parent
  32.      window’s text characteristics (font, size and style, as used in
  33.      buttons, editing fields, list boxes, etc.), under certain rare
  34.      conditions, incorrect text settings would be used and/or a
  35.      memory leak would occurred. This problem is now corrected.
